For those of you waiting on the edge of your seats to hear whether or not I passed my emissions test, I DID. Third time’s a charm. So charmed that I came down with the stomach flu as I drove home from the test.
One day, I’ll anonymously share all the really great material that I won’t let myself publish here. I do have some respect for my privacy; so, I’m sorry to admit to you that I have been collecting and withholding a lot of hilariously fascinating information…
Anyway, it’s officially spring in Chicago; which, means that I’m going to be spending a lot more time with my nanny kids at the park. As such, some writing shifts are afoot. This week, I’ll be starting a new series of posts in which I write letters to people I need to say things to. If you’re a person who thinks you may be reading a letter to yourself soon, and you’ve got strong feelings about it– now would be the time to share those feelings with me. These are good letters, people!
Most exciting of the changes I have to share with you, is that I’m working on a novel! It’s been in my brain for a while, I’ve toyed with courage, but it is go-time. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, but I’ve made a world and a story, and it’s happening. While I don’t want it to, this may also mean fewer blog posts. Who knows– I’ll be figuring it out as I go. Stay tuned!
Thanks for keeping up with my life journey! Sharing it with you is notably comforting.
