Another year wasted without a Valentine… HA. Just kidding, I could care less. But, I did get a kick out of Galentines’ day yesterday. I was at home sick with Bronchitis, and my incredibly generous friend, Shannon, brought me Panera, roses, and chocolate. I kid you not, that actually happened. If my sinuses weren’t so congested, I would have cried. In my mind, people don’t think of me, and they certainly don’t think of doing nice things for me. Thanks for being the best boyfriend I’ve ever had, Shan.
I’m back at work today, and it happens to be my favorite day of the week. “Why” you ask? Â Because on Wednesdays we wear pink. By “we” I mean Cora, and by “pink” I mean tights. Still confused? On Wednesdays, the three year old I nanny for has ballet. I have the privilege of getting her ready before I leave for the day and man, putting her in the tiny tights and leotard is more cuteness than I can handle.
I don’t know if it’s because it makes me think of myself 21 years ago or what; but, God help my future daughters as I cannot imagine feeling a more intense joy than I do when I’m talking dance with Cora.
On a less intense note, we did some V Day crafting this morning. I’m still not feeling exceptional; so, I decided on something simple. The easiest craft of all the infant and toddler crafts is finger painting. They love it, and when it dries, you can cut out whatever shapes you want. Super simple and easy, but also cute. Wow, that sounded so blog-y of me.
So, I promised you that I would keep this post short, and I fully intend to. Happy love day to you all, thanks for reading!

Ps. If you’d care to do me a solid, type in your email where the site prompts you to. This way, new posts will show up in your inbox, and you won’t miss a beat of my life-gossip. I’m still working on a customized email confirmation, but coding is hard. It seems that I didn’t inherit that skill from my parents who do it professionally… nor do I recall how I was so html savvy back in the MySpace days. But, I’ll get it figured out– no worries.
